Our Staff

Jared Hertz, D.O.

Dr. Jared Hertz has been in private practice for over five years. Dr. Hertz has his B.A. from Emory University in Art History and Music, and a M.A. from NYU in piano performance. He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles as chief resident.

Dr. Hertz played Division I tennis in his early college years, and remains active having run several half marathons. He has worked closely with Dr. Michael Kaplan, a weight management expert, and has attended numerous conferences on a variety of medical medication options regarding weight loss.

Practice Philosophy

By treating each person as an individual, we are best able to help maintain good health and wellbeing throughout all stages of life. He feels that the patient-provider relationship should reflect that of mutual respect and collaboration. Through this relationship, patients should be empowered to take an active role in their healthcare plans and decisions.

Howard Hertz, M.D.

Dr. Howard Hertz has been in private practice since 1983, as well as maintained attending privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital since that time. He has been chosen by the Consumers Research Council of America to be included in the 2007, 2008, 2009, as well as 2010 editions of Guide to America's Top Physicians.

He is fluent in Spanish, German and Italian. Dr. Hertz maintains a lifelong passion for the arts, especially classical music, and has been a professional pianist for over 25 years.

He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of The American Friends of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra as well as the Board of Governors for the Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt Institute. Dr. Hertz is also a resident member of the Metropolitan Club, and The Lotos Club, two of New York City's most prestigious establishments.
